How do I get started?+
Download PocketLoya, sign up with your phone number, and you'll receive free LEX credits to start asking legal questions right away — in English or French.
What are LEX credits?+
LEX is PocketLoya's pay-as-you-go credit. Questions, voice calls and document tools use a small amount of LEX. You can top up anytime with MTN Mobile Money or Orange Money.
What is PocketLoya Pro?+
Pro is an optional monthly subscription that includes a LEX allowance plus premium legal documents and voices. You can subscribe or cancel anytime from the app — there's no lock-in.
How do I generate or review a document?+
Open Documents in the app. Pick a template (contract, demand notice, NDA and more) to generate one you can download as an editable Word file or PDF, or upload a document to have its clauses analysed in plain language.
Which languages are supported?+
PocketLoya works in English and French. Answers and voices follow your chosen language.
Is PocketLoya a replacement for a lawyer?+
No. PocketLoya provides legal information and document assistance grounded in Cameroonian law, but it is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney on complex or high-stakes matters. Always consult a qualified lawyer for court representation.
I found a wrong or missing citation. What do I do?+
You can flag an incorrect citation directly in the app. Reports are reviewed to make the AI more accurate over time.
How do payments and refunds work?+
Credits and subscriptions are paid via MTN Mobile Money or Orange Money. Purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
How do I delete my account?+
Go to Settings in the app and choose Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and associated data. You can also email us and we'll help.
