1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your phone number and country. You may optionally provide your name.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use the App, including questions asked, features used, and session data. This helps us improve the service and the AI’s accuracy.

Device Information

We may collect device type, operating system version, and language settings to optimize your experience.

Voice Data

When you use voice features, audio is processed to convert speech to text. We do not store raw audio recordings after processing.

Location Data

PocketLoya collects your device's precise (GPS) location only when you start the Rights-Now Emergency live-location feature. It is not collected in the background or at any other time unless you have started this feature yourself.

Once you start live-location sharing, the app broadcasts your location and continues to do so even while the app is closed or running in the background, until you tap Stop. This is what lets the contacts you choose follow your position on a live map.

We share this live location only with the specific people you send the share link to, and only while the session is active. We retain the location only for the duration of the active session; we do not sell your location data or use it for advertising.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the AI legal assistance service
• To process credit purchases and payments
• To send important notifications about your account
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• To improve AI accuracy based on anonymized usage patterns
• To broadcast your live location to the contacts you choose — only during Emergency Mode, and only after you start it

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Payment processors: To process credit purchases. PocketLoya never stores your payment card details.
• Legal authorities: When required by applicable law.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. The App supports biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) for additional security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and chat history as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your chat history
• Opt out of non-essential notifications

7. Children’s Privacy

PocketLoya is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
